My name is Nikki. I am starting this site for my sister, Christina. She battled muscular dystrophy for many years. She was diagnosed at a young age, 5 yrs old i think. The doctors didnt give her a very long life expectancy. She went down hill pretty fast. She is a fighter though. She surpassed the life expectancy they gave her. She was beautiful, brave girl, full of love and smiles. Its still a hard pill to swallow, that she is no longer here with us, but she had to go. She is in a better place now, pain free and running like the wind. Her smile lit up the room. Her laughter still runs through my head. She was an inspiration to all. I admire her strength and courage she had through all this. Rest in peace angel.
